Academics

I’m currently in my 2nd year with a major in Psychology and minor in Biological Sciences.

Favourite Class: My favourite class so far has been PSYCO 282 and KOREA 101. They were really fun and it expanded my interest in those areas.

Advice for a First-Year: My advice for a first year student would be to take it slow and easy. You don’t need to go all-in with studying and can take time to enjoy the fun things at UofA.

Favourite Hangout Spot on Campus: My favourite hangout place on campus is CCIS.

Extracurricular

I really enjoy baking because it helps me calm down when I’m stressed. I also like to go on long walks whenever the sun is shining.

Future Aspirations: My future aspirations are doing a Masters in a field of Psychology.

Favourite Vacation: My favourite vacation has been going to Las Angeles with my family.

Favourite Movie: One of my favourite movies is Harry Potter.

Why TEP?

I chose to volunteer at TEP because it’s a great organization that’s bringing awareness to an important issue like domestic abuse. It’s something that can be overlooked today and not seen as the same as other types of abuse, but it is just as important. I want to show my support to survivors who have experienced domestic abuse and do my best to provide any help I can.
