Academics

I'm currently in my fourth year of my bachelor of science in kinesiology degree, which I felt was perfectly suited to me given my passion for both science as well as sport and exercise.

Favourite Class: KIN 400 human anatomy because I got the opportunity to use the human cadaver land and gain an abundance of knowledge relating to anatomy.

Advice for a First Year: enjoy the university experience, although classes can get overwhelming, always make sure you have time for yourself and if you're looking to get actively involved in the student community joining a club can be a great way to meet some new like-minded friends.

Favourite Hangout Spot on Campus: ECHA. I love the study rooms and watching Netflix on the tvs can be a great way to relax.

Extracurricular

Future Aspirations: In the future, I’d love to be a physical therapist. I've previously volunteered in physio clinics and I love interacting with all kinds of people and helping them overcome the limitations they may have and help them reach their goals.

Favourite Vacation: Thinking back, my favourite vacation spot has to be Turks and Caicos living in Edmonton. I loved the sun there and going to the ocean every day.

Favourite Movie: Favourite movie is spiderman no way home, as a huge spiderman fan it was something I was super hyped for and it did not disappoint.

Why TEP?

I joined TEP because domestic abuse and violence is very prevalent issue in our world today, and I wanted to do my part to help those affected by it. Working with the WIN HOUSE has enabled them to actively help those who have suffered from abuse and help provide them with the resources they need to help live happy, healthy lives.
