On May 6th, months of planning and problem solving came to fruition. From Delta, British Columbia, a truck full of dozens of Krispy Kreme boxes arrived in Edmonton for those who purchased donuts from us- even as early as November 2021. Many obstacles arose and postponed for the event, such as highways flooding in B.C. and COVID-19 outbreaks, but our club persisted and was able to make it into a successful event. To friends, family, and complete strangers, we delivered over 3,000 delicious donuts to over 100 different orders. These were hand delivered to individuals all across the Edmonton area thanks to the generous time and energy our amazing volunteers, members, friends and family dedicated to the event. While unforeseen circumstances reduced the profitability of our event, we were still able to raise over $900 for the event!
